True or False?

The more mainstream journalists write about blogs, bringing them to the masses, the more their readers are exposed to them. The more readers are exposed to blogs and read them, the more mainstream journalists are expected to join the trend and adapt to the blog environment.

The more mainstream journalists are expected to join the trend and adapt to the blog environment, the more blogs become mainstream media, rendering them useless.

True.

No, wait...False.

No, true.

Hahaha, great comment Scott. I agree with what (I think) you're suggesting, which is that there's no particular need for the two to "merge." However, I believe there will be (and already is) some passing back and forth of the two cultures. If you mix gossip, drivel, and opinion into a pot with first-hand sources, fact-checking, proper editing, and ethical practices, don't you get tabloids? I'm not sure what I just said there. I'm going to think some more about this.
